Included in this group of campaign literature are a 4 page flyer (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), a hanging door tag (4" x 10-1/2"), a leaflet (5-1/2" x 8-1/2") and a bumper sticker (10-1/2" x 3-1/2"), all from the J. L. Jackson for President, Calif. / Jesse Jackson for President campaign office, J. Glazer, Treas. Also included is a wall sticker from Bob Clemons, Oakland, CA (6-1/2" x 13"), a leaflet for a benefit Sponsored by Peace Activists and Artists for Jackson, Jules Glazer, Treasurer (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), and an 8-1/2" x 14" flyer promoting A presidential banquet with Jesse Jackson Sponsored by Asian Americans for Jesse Jackson. AAJJ offers a Berkeley address, the other items noting an address are from Oakland.  The AAJJ flyer has been folded twice and has inked notes on the reverse. Remaining items with little wear.  Very Good condition.

 

The California primary was held June 7th  Jackson came in second in the party behind Michael Dukakis, who went on to lose in the general election to George H. W. Bush. Items are all from a single Bay Area individual active in the Democratic Party at the time.
