Six black & white photos of elephants, and the troupe members working with them. Two photos are marked in ink on the reverse which provide the date and location for the group. The photographer is not identified.  Oblong; 10" x 8"; Minor rippling, little wear.  Very Good condition.

Known by the tag line The Greatest Show on Earth, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was one name used for a time and the result of a number of mergers. P. T. Barnum is the name perhaps best known for this endeavor, For many years the circus made its hedquarters and Winter home in Sarasota. Much more info in the Wiki article.
