Here are 2 photo postcards likely acquired from the final home of noted author Col. Erskine Scott Wood. Each of the cards is postally used, one at Los Gatos and the other at Holy City, both in California. One is dated 1953; the other is not dated most likely to have been used at about the same time. These cards were both written by Marcel Mailhebuau, writtten to his mother.  3-1/2" x 5-1/2"; Minor corner wear.  Very Good condition.

Camille Mailhebuau was the father of Marcel and one of the owners of The Poodle Dog, a noted restaurant in San Francisco with a history dating back to Gold Rush times. More information can be found about Marcel from his online obituary at the San Francisco Chronicle.
